As reported in the chinaperspective.com today, 51.com, China’s largest blogging community, has signed a RMB100 million contract with Huawei Technologies, China’s largest networking and telecoms equipment supplier, for a range of integrated network services.
The website, 51.com, received $51 million in venture capital funding from Giant Interactive Group (NYSE: GA) last July, and deal is the largest operating outlay since.
The cooperation between is another sign that Huawei, the telecoms equipment supplier now actively engages in developing business around the SNS related area, following its latest recruitment of experienced SNS operational professionals from MySpace.cn who are getting down to the community building as reported in 2008.
