According to reports circulating on the Web, Baidu (Nasdaq:BIDU) is testing a new search results page featuring a navigation column on the left side of the page, Techweb cited a leaked screen shot of the new page layout. The picture shows the navigation bar offers links to Baidu news, online forum channel Baidu Post Bar and interactive Q&A channel Baidu Knows as well as providing information related to the latest searches.
DoNews reported that Baidu would not comment on the news but the JLM Pacific Epoch website stated that a Baidu employee confirmed that the company is conducting small-scale testing of a new search page.
