This past Thursday night, over 65 people battled the Beijing rain to attend an event called, "Navigating the Chaos of Social Media". The format of the night saw a speakers panel (of 4 people) then a networking element to give people the chance to exchange business cards, ideas and just socialize a little.

The panel was MC'ed by Chris Solomon who introduced Matt McDougall (me) (CEO, Digital Jungle), Justin Billingsly (CEO, Saatchi & Saatchi), Denis Oldfield (GM, Novotel Beijing) and Jipeng Wang (CEO, iFensi.com). Each of the speakers shared their views on Social Media and the impact it is having on Brands and business. You can find my presentation below.

I wanted to use my 15 - 20 minutes on the panel to highlight the importance of measurement and understanding the metrics being used to track social media programs.
