Who’s Winning and Loosing Deals- March Agency Performance Tables PDF Print E-mail
Written by Matt McDougall

I thought that anyone in Digital Marketing would find these Agency Performance Leagues invaluable. Thanks to the folks at Media Magazine who put this together.

There are some interesting surprises… not to mention some great progress being made by EuroRsCG on the Creative side and Carat on the Media. I will also be posting a separate table for Search and Social Marketing efforts but at this time it is difficult to pull these numbers out from the various Agencies. It appears that both the Creative and Media Agencies are doing Search (to a degree).

These tables are compiled on a monthly basis (Below is March 09) and performance is measured according to the annualized billings value of accounts won and accounts lost. (This is UPDATED- Thanks to @DavidTiltman for posting me the updated Performance Tables)

METHODOLOGY: The Business Performance Leagues are compiled on a monthly basis by Media magazine. Business performance is measured according to the annualised billings value of accounts won and accounts lost. Agencies are ranked according to their net billings gain in the year to date.

For accounts that do not have a billings figure attached to them, a billings score is calculated as fees multiplied by 6.5 (a standard industry multiplier). Retained business is not included in the leagues.

VERIFICATION: Information submitted by agencies is checked for accuracy where possible against the advertising spend data compiled by Nielsen Media Research,TAMIndia and NDT Japan.
