Providers of online advertising service in the China market generated total revenues of 20.61 billion yuan (US$3.02 billion) in 2009, rising by 21.2% from 2008, according to China-based iResearch Consulting Group.

 

Baidu was the largest provider sharing 21.3% of the total revenues in 2009, followed by Google with 11.1%, Sina with 7.5%, Sohu with 5.9%, Tencent QQ with 4.9% and NetEase with 1.5%, iResearch said, adding demand for online advertising service will be growing fast over the next few years.
