Forrester put out a great report on US Interactive Marketing Spend (The report will set you back $1749, but worth while for Search Marketers). Within the report, SEO was predicted to grow dramatically over the next three years in the US. What was interesting for me was that I saw clear parallels between the report finds for the US and my expectations for China. But within the report, two charts struck me as particularly exciting:

In China, downloading free music is easy. You can just go to Baidu or top100.cn and take your pick. But for those outside China finding free music sites to download music can be somewhat challenging, especially if someone does not know exactly what to look for. For the past month the R&D team have been working on the integration of SinoMaximizer with the new Baidu Professional edition (called Phoenix Nest) This new platform will officially take over Baidu Classic edition (the Baidu bidding rank) in about 2 weeks (December 1st). I attended a presentation from David Smith this morning at the iMedia Agency Summit where he spoke on the topic of metrics in Social Media and New Media.  He was a well spoken presenter but I felt his topic positioning was way to America centric, too general and simply not suited for an audience of Asian based digital marketers (I maybe alone in my assessment so take this with a grain of salt).
